What is S.A.F.E?
South Atlantic Fishing Environmentalists was founded by a group of lifelong fishermen with an everlasting passion for fishing and conservation. We have devoted our entire lives to fishing and truly care about the future of our fishery and our oceans.
As we witnessed drastic changes to our fishery through the years, we knew we had to do something and so, S.A.F.E. was born.
What we do
The members of S.A.F.E. fish, and we fish hard. Our mission at South Atlantic Fishing Environmentalists is to combine science with the experience of lifelong fishermen to ensure sustainable fisheries in the South Atlantic region.
We educate and advocate to the agencies managing our fish stocks to create sensible fisheries regulations.
We have experienced amazing fisheries and will work tirelessly to ensure future generations have the opportunity to experience the same.
